The Moon
Some nights the Moon is a hook drawing my eyes up to the sky.
Blue-black nights when the cold is intense and I’m staggering home drunk, alone.
Then the Moon is a like a boat on a river, its light the water that guides me home.

La Luna
Algunas noches la Luna es un gancho que atrae mis ojos hasta el cielo.
Noches negrizales cuando el frio es intenso y estoy tropezando a mi casa, borracho y solo.
Entonces la Luna es como un barco en un rio, su luz es el agua que me guía al hogar.
